Account upgrades
You will see people around the forum with Bronze, Premium, and/or VIP Membership. You can get these memberships in a couple different ways. The first way that you can get an Advanced Membership is through 4DR Swag Bucks. Once you have the required amount of 4DR Swag Bucks, you can visit the Shop or “Buy Memberships” tab to redeem an Advanced Membership. You can earn 4DR Swag Bucks by completing these various tasks:
•You get 5 4DR Swag Bucks each time you post a reply to a new thread. There are some sections where this doesn't apply (such as in the Forum Games section), because it wouldn't really be fair if people could earn all their 4DR Swag Bucks simply from participating in the various counting games we have.
•You get 20 4DR Swag Bucks for posting a new discussion or thread, and you get 30 4DR Swag Bucks if you post a new discussion or thread in any of the Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 8, or Splatoon sections.
•You can also get 6 4DR Swag Bucks if someone likes your post. You can see and manage all your 4DR Swag Bucks from the Bank.
•You can also get quite a few 4DR Swag Bucks from winning and/or placing in our Contests, so make sure to check out the Contests section for any new contests that are posted.
•You can also get 100 Swag Bucks by reporting 4DR imposters. Although, don't try to be slick and report fake imposters as we'll just ask for their FC and Player ID and see if the person in question really was using the 4DR tag without permission.
The second and easier way to get an Advanced Membership is by purchasing them with real money. Many people have bought an Advanced Membership using this method. It is fast and it is through PayPal, so it’s extremely secure. It is not required to have a PayPal account. All you need is a credit, debit, or other prepaid card and you’ll be good to go! This method is also best as it helps us out with server costs, which are getting increasingly expensive as the forum gets more and more popular.
