This is look so fun! Are you exciting for this? :D Post below for your opinions.

I WAS ABOUT TO POST THIS

Anyways, I like that this new feature is going to be added to MK8's mechanics. Opens up the game a little more with more possibilities/more shortcuts/more chaos. I hope this actually turns out good. When I first saw this thread's name/all of the messages on Skype about "OMG 200CC! YES 200 CC! WHAT IS THIS 200 CC?" I thought Mr. Bean made some 200cc hack lol. Didn't expect Nintendo to try out 200cc, but all in all it works, at least for now. :p

SO FAST! LMAO

So I also have to remind you that the video was posted on April Fools. The legitness of all this? Probably very unlikely. It looks like Astro Star and myself think the same line of thinking here...

direct

Why would they just randomly insert a 200cc in after all these years? If it is actually real, then it's very interesting. However, I am doubting it.

Zach... it's Nintendo's Channel! Like the real Nintendo. I don't think this is a joke... tbh

So what? You don't think Nintendo would play an April Fool's joke? Talk about no sense of humor. Half the comments on that video are asking if it's an April Fool's joke.

If this wasn't nintendo, no doubt about it it's probably April Fools. But they also have recordings of gameplay, proving that it must be real.

Being real doesn't mean anything. The "real" big companies and corporations are the people who would play April Fools jokes because it would extend and reach a lot of people in the process, whereas smaller businesses and such wouldn't because how many people would really see it? Come on, now.

Gameplay? Doesn't provide enough proof. Who says they didn't just take a normal clip and speed it up a bit? Who says that they didn't hire some amazing video editor to make it look fast. Nintendo is certainly raking in the $$$ (and is loaded) to do so. Like I said in my first response, I can't prove that this completely is a joke, but since it was posted on April 1st and the fact that for all these years, the Mario Kart franchise has always had three speed modes (or whatever you want to call them), it just seems very off-putting to me to just all of a sudden have a 200cc.

idk, no use arguing, we'll see :)

Arguing is good. What do you think a forum is used for? ;) If it gets out of hand, then yeah obviously that's not good.

Eh
I don't know if it's real or not, but based on the fact that a leak of a Nintendo Direct on April 1st was actual, and it wasn't an April Fools Nintendo Direct, probably is real

I would be saying the same thing had I not seen someone on Skype say "At the beginning of the stream Nintendo made it clear it was not a joke." Not exactly along those lines, but you get the picture. I mean, I don't 100% think it's real and will not accept it's real until it's confirmed, but I'm not going to say it's fake. They should have already taken back those claims as the United Kingdom and many other time zones are already in the day called April 2nd. Not to say they don't have to revoke their claims the day after April Fools, but it would seem more fitting had they done it on the same day. It all depends on time and the legitimacy of the clips they provided. If anyone notices something out of order or any information that may change my opinion, then please post it here. I don't even have 100% knowledge on this situation but as I keep typing, there is even less of a chance that it is fake, unless Nintendo finally announces it is fake. I may be missing some details that could prove either your or my claims correct (what exactly is being released, all of the sources, etc.), so keep that in mind.

200cc? lame xD i'm with 300cc in MKDS... but nice to have it also in MK8 :D and i have experience with that speed xD

That's what I was thinking

You realize that was part of the joke right, to make you think it's a prank? Otherwise, how the fuck would GameXplain be doing a video on it? lmao

Eh, That image shown was before Nintendo streaming on Twitch and that isn't fake, I swear. Look a video I found (like what Kirigaya said. lol):

As time goes on, it appears to be more and more real. However, I don't think it was absolutely ludicrous of me to think this could possibly be a joke because the video was posted on April Fools, and this is the first time ever that there is a new speed mode in Mario Kart.

I guess you could be right.
