Best U.S. Presidential Candidate thus far? (1 viewer)

Not gonna right a whole big introduction, title speaks for itself. If today were November 8th, 2016, who would you choose?

I'm not here to prove a point towards a specific candidate, but I'll take a minute or two to briefly comment on the front runners.

Hillary Clinton - Don't find her honest and trustworthy because of her whole scandal. Besides that don't completely agree with everything she's saying, especially since it's obvious she has a very liberal bias.

Bernie Sanders - To me he seems to have the best ideas and plans overall, but some of things that he said a is ridiculous, like how a 90% income tax rate isn't high enough.

Donald Trump - I think this guy gets a bad rap, and sometimes deservedly so, but what I love about his character is that he says brutally honest opinions whenever he wants without caring about other people's opinions, or trying to sound politically correct.

Ted Cruz - I can't personally take this guy seriously. His slogan or whatever with ISIS, and he said this in a debate, is "We win, they lose." Well no shit Sherlock!

Marco Rubio - This guy is from my home state and city, haha! However what I like about him is that whenever he talks, he just seems like a leader to me, he just seems like he knows what he's talking about and doing.

Love Donald Trump. I've already posted why on various threads, but of course it comes down to the way he handles things and what he believes in, which is mainly why anyone would pick any one of these people over the other. I think he gets a bad rep because people twist what he says or news sites post fake stories about him, and of course people believe the fake stories that are only there to get views, and then you know the rest.

No one who wins Iowa wins the election though. Whatever Iowa does, New Hampshire and the other states do the exact opposite, at least that is past history.

Hopefully. Trump stands a chance though because he's a very strong candidate.

I like Bernie Sanders the most as in my opinion, he's the least of all the evils, but his mistakes with saying he's a Socialist makes his chances of getting the presidency very slim.

I already explained why in the second post on the thread. I just wanted to say it again because I think politics is a thing that should be discussed frequently, especially because the candidates are traveling from state to state, and it's interesting to see the results from each state.

I agree, I don't get why younger people don't care about politics at all today, this is our lives, and the way our country is run that we're talking about here. Even then adults don't play attention to it and just watch politics every election year.
