Do you Prefer Console or Handheld Mario Karts?

Per the thread title, do you prefer console or handheld Mario Karts? An example of a console Mario Kart would be Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 8 as they're played on the Wii and Wii U (respectively). Of course, both the Wii and Wii U are consoles. An example of a handheld Mario Kart would be Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 7 as they're played on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS (again, respectively). Obviously, the controller is the device you're playing on, making it a handheld Mario Kart.

So which do you prefer? I much prefer console Mario Karts because I have bigger hands and I feel very cramped and wouldn't be able to play for long periods of time on handheld Mario Karts, so I personally don't really consider them. This all comes down to opinion of course, so which do you guys prefer?

I really don't have a preference because you're pretty much seeing it the same, whether it's close or long distance. I'm not going to say console just because mkw is on a console.

It depends on the situation for me. The advantage of handheld Mario Karts is that you can take it pretty much anywhere, and is a good way to kill time on a long car ride. However, if I were at home, the console games are much better.

I own MKWii, MK8, MK7 and MKDS (Yes, I have all of them like you said). But I prefer play console more than handheld.

Definitely console. The DS and MK8 versions (I played it at my friend's house) were just not too enjoyable, and I don't really like playing it like that. I love having a Wii remote and nunchuck in my hands much better.

Well, both MK7 and MK8 sucked, and those were both on consoles and handhelds.

I liked the handheld versions more ... I can play them anywhere and the graphics are ... Well quite ok for their release year

Actualy, I changed my mind: I like console slightly more than handheld.

I prefer consoles, don't know why but I don't really use handhelds these days (although I still have my 3DS!), having a handheld would be a good way to kill time if you're going on a long trip or you're bored and you have a great adventure on your handheld game which is a great way to kill time, especially when it's exciting!
