After 15 Splatfests, they decided to bring the finale. On July 22nd, 2016, at 2AM PT to July 24th, 2016 at 2AM PT.
All 3 regions, (NA, EU, JPN) will have this Splatfest. However, NA and EU will be together, while JPN will be playing separately

If you have been playing this game for a while, in the email registered to your NNID you will get an email from Nintendo. They're asking everyone to vote for what stages they want this Splatfest. Be sure to check that out in your email! The deadline is July 12th, and you can only pick one stage.
Wow, this is one way to end Splatfest! A question that I've seen being asked is how will you receive sea-snails after this update?
I believe in the same idea that a friend of mine thought of which is
"The new Callie and Marie amiibos coming out could have a mini-game which allows you to obtain sea-snails."
In terms of picking a team, I DON'T KNOW LOL.
I never really had an interest in the squid sisters, so I'm considering going on the side with most of my friends on it.
Thoughts? Are you guys hyped about this or are you sad that's it's the finale?
Personally I'm a mix of both, it's sad that it's over but it's quite a good way to end it.
