This game was first released in Japan on 10th April 2008, then a day later for Europe, 24th for Australia and 27th for North America. 2. No repicking tracks. Doing so will result in a deduction of -15 to your total points.
3. All tracks are able to be picked after GP 3.
4. No trolling.
5. None of the following glitches are allowed:
- Mushroom Gorge Wall Glitch
- Mario Circuit Tree Clip
- Coconut Mall Parking Lot Glitch
- Coconut Mall Spiral Skip
- Wario’s Gold Mine Pipe Bounce Glitch/Lakitu Abuse
- Maple Treeway OOB Glitch
- Grumble Volcano Lap Skip Glitch
- Rainbow Road Lakitu Abuse
- Rainbow Road Pole Glitch
- GCN Peach Beach Tree Clip
- N64 Sherbet Land Pole Glitch
- GCN Waluigi Stadium Spiral Skip
- GCN Waluigi Stadium TAS Pole Glitch
- N64 DK’s Jungle Parkway Spiral Skip
- N64 DK's Jungle Parkway Pole Glitch
- GCN DK Mountain Fence Glitch
6. Failing to comply with rules 3 and 4 will result in disqualification.
7. You may only use Mario on Standard Kart, any combo outside of this combo are not allowed. Failing to use Mario on Standard Kart will result in you being kicked from the room for that GP.
8. No teaming and/or voice communicating with other participants. Breaking this rule will also result in disqualification.

Scoring:
1. Disconnecting will result in zero points unless proven otherwise, as well as +3 for each race missed.
2. If a player disconnects before the end of the first race, they are compensated with 10 points.
3. If 3 or more people disconnect from the room before race 1, the room must be restarted. Disconnections after the beginning of race 1 will be ignored.

Results:
1. Eliminations will occur every GP, so there will be:

GP 1 = 12 players (3 eliminations)
GP 2 = 9 players (3 eliminations)
GP 3 = 6 players (3 eliminations)
GP 4 = 3 players (0 eliminations)

2. The 3 people who score the lowest points will be eliminated.
3. In GP4, whoever has the highest, second highest and lowest score will place 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
4. Someone must be able to capture the result of each round.
