It's not bottled water that's the problem for me, its that so many fucking idiots don't know how to clean up after themselves and throw all their empty bottles all over the goddamn place and causing innocent animals to try to eat them and die from asphyxiation.
Either be more strict on anti-littering laws or fuck off Congress
People who label others "litterbugs" Are part of the problem. That phrase was invented by major corporations like coca cola when they switched from glass to plastic bottles. Before then the litter of bottles wasn't really an issue, as they could reuse the bottles by giving people money back if they returned them to the bottle washers. In reality, it's mainly the corporations fault for the high levels of pollution, and they simply try to shift the blame.
No. No way should water bottles be banned.
If people are in severe droughts, how will they get water if there are no water bottles?
If people are hot in school, how will they get water if there are no water bottles?
If people are travelling abroad and cannot drink the local water, how will they avoid getting sick from it if there are no water bottles?
If people want to make benches out of recycled material, how will they make it if there are no water bottles?
So many questions that would be unanswered if water bottles were banned.
