Upon release, Splatoon 3 has become very popular almost instantly since it's been a few years since the release of Splatoon 2. I bought it on the release date, and was really only impressed with the story gameplay. Online gameplay as usual is very competitive and tedious, and I found many people to not find that very enjoyable (understandably so). A new season is about to drop for Splatoon 3 as 2022 comes to an end, which looks like a potentially exciting update!

Chill Season 2022 Trailer on YouTube:

It's been a while since I last played Splatoon as I have both Splatoon 1 and 2. But I don't really like online due to the competitive nature but that's not really a valid reason because I haven't touched Splatoon in ages. :p

If anything, I still 100% recommend the story, as well as any DLC that may be available in the future. They never have disappointed in the past or present

The latest updates seem to have balanced out online play and many other things in that regard.... the new variety of weapons instantly became popular choices, such as ttek splattershot and forge pro (kpro splat 2).
