I don't know about you guys, but I happen to think I'm a rather speedy typer. Here are the results I got from the site I will link below:

direct

You can take this test here: TypingTest.com - Test Your Typing Speed in 60 Seconds and then screenshot your results once you're done! It seems like there's different time limits and different "tests" you can take. I just went with all the default settings, so I recommend you do that too so everything is comparable! Please don't edit or alter your results, that's just pretty boring and saddening that you have to do that in the first place! But I'm interested in seeing how fast all of you can type. :)

This is by far one of my less impressive runs. I've been able to eclipse over 105 WPM. The unfortunate problem with this website is that the tests give a lot of strange punctuation where, yes it is good practice, but it takes away from the WPM whenever you have to take a second to find it in an unorthodox place.

Cool!! Thanks for sharing. That's quite fast! :D And I agree about the punctuation. It tripped me up as well.

I would take one, but I type way too fast even for myself, that I have to backspace and correct myself so much, that speed isn't even a thing anymore.

Yeah, that's definitely me sometimes!

Tbh, I can type really fast if I wanted to, but I would re-type so many times that it would be ridiculous. Plus, in a typing test like that, you're most likely not looking down to see what you're writing. In terms of normal writing (per say, this post), you have a keyboard and one thing you're looking at. You already know via muscle memory where just about every letter is on the keyboard, so you don't have to look down at it really at all. You simply look up at what's being written on screen, change it if you mess up with your muscle memory, and wallah. You don't make nearly as many mistakes as reading something and writing it, so unfortunately I would have to say these tests don't completely show how fast AND accurately you can type in the most efficient way.
